Welcome to the Valla Beach Community Market
The Valla Beach Community Association hold a market festival on the first Saturday of every even month (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, and Dec), focusing on home made and home grown local produce - food, arts, crafts and fantastic musical talent. The event runs from 8am to 2pm at the Valla Reserve (also known as “Lion’s Park”), at Valla Beach, a serene and peaceful seaside village.
The location is next to the footbridge across Deep Creek, at the end of Ocean View Drive, and just a kilometre or two from the Pacific Highway. Head towards the Valla Beach Tourist Park and turn left just before the entry - follow the signs! The valley’s community groups also attend, giving locals and visitors information & access to their services.
Next Market - April 7th
The next Valla Beach Community Market is on April 7th 2012 which is Easter Saturday. More information will be available as it comes to hand.

February Market
Our February market was not without its dramas; the normal area under the paperbark trees was waterlogged following extensive rain towards the end of January and into February. Paperbarks like wet areas so it is the price we have to pay for such a beautiful setting. Luckily we have an alternate venue so close to hand and the grassy open area was pressed into use. We would like to thank all the stallholders for their understanding.
Music was provided by The String Contingent who called in as a part of the east coast tour having travelled up from a gig at Comboyne (near Taree) the night before and going on to Dorrigo that night.
The raffle was not drawn as we will be selling tickets for a few more days; these will be available at the Valla Beach Tourist Park. There is a fantastic prize worth $200 - a 6 months gym membership at "The Shack" at Valla Beach Tourist Park. |

Supporting the Community
The market is an initiative of the Valla Beach Community Association to raise money for the protection, repairs and positive growth of Valla Beach along with creating an avenue for networking and bringing the community together for good times and great bargains.
Our current target is the provision of playground and exercise equipment at Anderson Park. The markets are contributing funds towards an estimated $40,000 for this project; your support of our markets means we are making good progress (see left). In fact, installation of the children's playground at Anderson Park is near completion - check out the Community News page!

Supporting Local Food
The Nambucca Valley Local Food Network was successfully launched in September 2009. It's a wonderful local venture enabling farmers to sell their produce through a group who deals directly with consumers.
